I am so grateful for my kids’ teachers. We live in a wonderful district and are so appreciative of the first-rate teachers our kids have. I wanted to do something special for them, so this year I made a Teacher Appreciation Day printable that is perfect for young kids (and I have a fun way to present it, too…see the bottom of the post for this fun idea!).
Teacher Appreciation Day Printable
This is fun because it’s easy (all you need is a printer) and it only has a couple of things the child needs to fill out – I wanted it to be something my kids could actually do (and something that wouldn’t result in tears because it felt like homework…ha). This is a sweet appreciation letter for your child to fill out for their favorite teacher(s).
When is Teacher Appreciation Day?
Teacher Appreciation Day is on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. You may have noticed that many school celebrate Teacher Appreication Week. The first full week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week, with that Tuesday being the official Teacher Appreciation Day.
Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas
Are you a room mom (or dad) or involved in the PTA? This letter is the perfect thing to have students fill out for teachers!
If you’re a parent looking to do something nice for your kids’ teachers, I’ve got a list of gift ideas for teachers that are all ten bucks or less. You can read it here – and rest assured teachers will love anything on this list because it was created with the help of my two favorite teachers (my mom and my mother-in-law!).
DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas
Now, if you want to take it a step further, make this cute DIY pencil holder out of a mason jar, add some apple pom poms, and roll up the teacher letter into a scroll and stick it in the pencil holder with some shiny new pencils. {Teachers love pencils!}
