I’ve partnered with Firewheel Town Center in Garland, Texas, to bring some news about their upcoming holiday events. I also want to share my favorite stocking stuffer ideas for nine-year-old boys and six-year-old girls. And can we talk about these impossible-to-find LOL Dolls for a minute, too?? All opinions are my own.
I do a lot of Christmas shopping online, but when it comes to the kids’ stocking stuffers, I almost always buy them in person. Most of the stuff I fill stockings with is little and inexpensive…and the stockings are also a great home for my impulse buying tendencies.
This year I did my stocking stuffer shopping at Firewheel Town Center (which is also where I get my hair cut, so it was super convenient to get some shopping in while I was already there for a hair appointment!).
We also had the kids tke their pictures with Santa at Firewheel this year. You can book an appointment to see Santa so you won’t have to wait in line, either (God bless you, Internet Santa Booking Service!). We love this Santa! Kids who visit Santa also get some reindeer antlers to take home!
Firewheel is alive with holiday magic. Guests can experience live musicians and entertainers, too! A group dressed in Victorian-era costumes will stroll the sidewalks performing a classic arrangement of holiday songs. Caroling will take place on Saturday, December 16 from 3 – 5 p.m., Thursday, December 21 & Friday, December 22 from 12 – 2 p.m. and on Saturday, December 23 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
AND! >>> Complimentary holiday carriage rides will also be available in the park on Saturdays beginning November 25 from 5 – 8 p.m.
I did all of my shopping at Crazy 8 and Toys ‘R Us. Crazy 8 has the best kids’ stuff…it’s super inexpensive and I just feel like their clothes are so darn cute.
Toys ‘R Us is an easy place to shop because if you’re looking for stoking stuffers, you can literally wander up and down the aisles and grab things the kids will like until you have enough to stuff their stocking.

That Unicorn stocking is adorable and my nine-year-old horse lover would LOVE that.
Really good ideas, pinning!
Thanks Kari! My mom made the stocking. 🙂
