Nintendo sent us a copy of Splatoon 2 to review. All opinions are my own. Check out the Splatoon printable bookmarks below – these would be a super fun party favor! This post contains affiliate links.
We’ve been playing Splatoon 2 for a couple of weeks now, and as you can imagine, it’s completely bewitched my children.
Splatoon 2 is officially available on July 21st. You can pre-order the game here.
Y’ALL. Jack has been waiting for months, and now that it’s here? He can’t get enough. He spends his screen time rotating through Splatoon 2 and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and when I asked him which is his favorite, he didn’t have an answer…”I love them BOTH,” he said.
Duh, Mom.
Unfortunately for Jack, his summer screen time is dependent upon the completion of his chores. And one of those “chores” (although he loves it) is reading for an hour.
To inspire him to read, I made these Splatoon printable bookmarks. I think they’re great for any Splatoon-loving kid (or adult). They’d also be cute party favors for a Splatoon 2 party.
Splatoon 2 is a single or multi-player game. You can play it on Switch and Wii U. Players also have the option to battle opponents online and can participate in online Splatfests. The game, which is a paintball shooting game, lets you pick your own character and choose different game types to work towards different goals. For example, Turf War has two teams competing to see who can cover the most ground with their paintball color.
I like this game because it’s not violent (I mean, it’s a shooting game, but it’s a paintball shooting game, you know?). It’s a unique take on a family-friendly shooting game (no one dies! there’s no blood! yay Nintendo!).
You can buy Splatoon 2 here.
