Oh, the kids’ table at Thanksgiving. Home of some of my very favorite Thanksgiving memories! I remember one year when it got silent in the dining room, as the grown-ups paused to listen to our laughter, and I heard one of them say, “I want to be at their table!” And I couldn’t blame them. We loved the kids’ table, with its lack of rules and parenting, and the laughter that came with it. This year, I’ve used Chinet® Classic White™ products to create a kids’ table I hope my own kids will love.
But too bad for my mom, right?! Back in the old days, she couldn’t go online and find a free printable Thanksgiving table setting for kids – she had to make it herself. I’m totally hooking y’all up with some fun table ideas and the easiest, lowest maintenance kids’ table EVER.
Because Thanksgiving shouldn’t be stressful, or feel like a burden…it should be fun, peaceful, and most of all, a time for gratitude.
Printable Thanksgiving Table Setting for Kids
I used the Chinet Classic White product line for our kids’ table (and the grown-up table, too). I love how easy they are, and how well they fit in with our no-fuss Thanksgiving mood.
Chinet Classic White products offer premium strength so you don’t have to worry about spills and leaks, making serving and cleanup easy so you can spend more time with friends, family, and guests —just toss when done!
They’re eco-friendly and compostable, made in the USA, and microwave safe (leftovers, you guys…leftovers). I love that they are made with 100% recycled material and FDA-approved paper (they’ll biodegrade in 60 days).
The Chinet® brand can be found at most major grocers and big-box retailers. Select products now available at Target.

I think you’ll love these cute printable Thanksgiving place cards for kids!
Print them on card stock and fold them in half. I’ve learned that having a designated place for everyone to sit can lower the drama at the kids’ table – no one fighting over seats!
These printable Thanksgiving placemats come with activities to entertain the kids!
I actually made two versions – you can just print the one you like, or print on both sides. And in case you don’t want to print the activity mats, I’ve also included a coloring sheet that you can add to your place setting.
Toss some crayons at each seat and the kids officially have something to do! Of course, the crayons did give me a little bit of a dilemma…do I put them all in one bin, and let them fight over it, or do I give each kid a few crayons of their own?
I’ll let you decide what works best for your family. In the end, they’ll probably fight over it either way you decide. #becausekids
And speaking of table setting options, I played around with a few different settings. I started with one where the kids could grab their own cutlery. But then I realized, unlimited lightsaber supply!, so I changed it up.
I think I like my final option better – each kid can grab one of the Chinet® Cut Crystal® 14 oz. cups that I’ve already filled with a napkin and their own set of Chinet Cut Crystal cutlery.

I think the kids’ table will always be one of my favorite holiday memories (okay, not gonna lie…most of my favorite “kids’ table” memories happened when we were technically adults but for some reason still sat at our own table, but this time around with spouses and best friends, too). My hope is that when my own kids grow up, they’ll have fond memories of the kids’ table, too!
