Raise your hand if you are constantly promising yourself you’ll drink more water.  My hand is right up there with yours.

We all know how very important it is that we get enough water daily.  But it’s hard to make sure we’re getting the minimum suggested 64 ounces a day let alone overachieving and getting more than that.

And the only thing more fun than meeting your daily water intake goals is tracking it with cute stickers in your planner.

How much water should I be drinking?

Did you know that your body is composed of about 60% water?  Making sure your body is properly hydrated keeps it running in tip-top condition so we want to be sure we’re getting the proper amount.  Experts generally agree that we should be drinking at least eight 8-ounces glasses of water a day but for some people (especially those doing a lot of exercise or spending a lot of time outside), it may be more beneficial to drink water based on your weight.  The accepted calculation for this is done by taking dividing your weight in half and drinking that many ounces of water a day.  But if you’re at square-one for getting in all your water, a good place to start is 64 ounces a day.

Use these planner stickers to remind you to drink your water, or to mark off a day when you meet your water intake goal!

Why is drinking water so important?

Not only does staying hydrated give you energy and promote healthy organ function, studies also show that it prevents muscle fatigue when exercising (I’m looking at you, runners!).  And, of course, your skin and complexion is at its best.  Hello, beautiful!

What is the best way to track my water intake in my planner?

There are many different ways to keep track of how much water you’re getting but if you’re a planner gal like I am, printable hydration stickers are the way to go!  Just mark off the little water bottle each time you finish a glass of water and at the end of the day you can give yourself a gold star for drinking all your water and knowing that you are keeping your body running on all cylinders.  Cheers!

If you’re new to printable stickers, start here for a detailed blog post about how to make your own stickers. You can print these on any sticker paper (Avery and Silhouette make great ones). But full sheet labels, like these ones, are the cheapest way to go (and also the easiest to peel off)! You might even be able to find them at your local Walmart. I cut them with scissors or a paper cutter (or a combo of both!).

You can see how Carrie uses planner stickers in her planner over on Instagram – be sure to check out her “Perpetual Planner” highlights for tons of ideas and inspiration!

Hi, I found your blog via the Buzz Feed post about mom blogs. Thought I would jump over and support your blog. As another blogger I wasn’t too thrilled with that post but thought maybe if it gives all the blogs linked in that post more traffic then it’s a win for yall. Keep up the great work!

Hi Stacy! I read the post and thought it was pretty mean, but also extremely under-researched. I feel like she has no idea what goes on behind the scenes! Thank you for the kind words and for stopping by. I *so* appreciate you! <3
