Letter writing is the best. It’s such a simple way to brighten up someone’s day. But, it seems like it’s getting harder and harder to fit time into our busy days for things like writing letters (am I right? Say it’s not just me!).
I make myself sit down and write a letter to my grandmother every month. I will never regret the time “lost” that I spend writing a letter…but I would totally regret not sending them, you know what I mean?
This month’s printable floral stationery was designed with Valentine’s Day and the thought of spring in my mind, but it’s perfect to write on year-round.

If you’re stuck looking for something to write about, here are some ideas:
- your weekend
- the last holiday
- your job
- ask lots of questions
- a favorite memory
- kid update
- pet update
Those are a just a few things to get the juices flowing – I sometimes sit down to write and then get stuck! It can help to have some ideas or a format that you follow, especially if you’re new to letter writing (or just need to dust off the old letter-writing skills, which is totally normal).
Speaking of letter-writing skills…was anyone else an avid note writer in school? I used to write SO MANY notes to my friends in middle school and then high school…my hand hurts just thinking about it! But at the same time, I really love that I had that experience. Texting just isn’t the same – in fact, I wonder if kids pass each other notes at all, anymore?!
OK, enough of that and on to the printable!
