A few months ago, we visited KidZania, an interactive city designed for kids in Frisco. Right after we visited, everything went into lockdown and it was closed almost as soon as it had opened. it has since reopened (yay!), and today I wanted to share some of the details about KidZania so you can plan your next adventure!
Our visit was sponsored. All opinions are my own.
For the full scoop about our visit, you can read my post here.
Is KidZania open?
Yes – KidZania is open to the public! However, due to strict precautions and sanitation measures, the park is only open in a limited capacity. I recommend buying tickets in advance, online.
What ages is KidZania best for?
As you can read here, I took my two kids, who were ages 8 and 11 at the time. I would say it’s really geared towards kids my daughter’s age (8). However, there were some really great attractions that my oldest enjoyed, too (like Pilot School!). I think younger kids would also love it, although currently some of the attractions are still closed – and that includes the toddler area.
Where is KidZania located?
You can find KdZania at Stonebriar Centre in Frisco.
How much time can we expect to spend at KidZania?
I would definitely set aside a few hours. We spent four or five hours there, but we also went when it open to full capacity and all of the attractions were open. There were some lines for different attractions, and we pretty much did everything we could. With fewer people and some of the attractions closed, I would imagine you could plan on spending 2-3 hours there.
