Claire is turning two (TWO!) in just a couple of weeks, and I have been going back and forth over whether or not I want to throw her a big shindig or a little party. I mean, I want to throw her a tiny party with just a handful of guests, but you know how it is…once you invite so-and-so, you’ve got to invite so-and-so…and so on and so on.
So, we’re throwing her a pool party – and I decided to make my own party invites. And they were so much fun to make that I went ahead and made a few extras, and I’m going to share them all here. You can download these free printable party invitations just by clicking on the invite (or invites) that you want to download.
I designed these all to print best at 4×6, but I’ve printed them at 5×7 and I can’t see a loss of quality. I recommend you print them on cardstock, or print on regular paper at 4×6 and back with a cute 5×7 cardstock to give them a more customized, homemade feel.
You can make your own envelopes (it’s easy – we made all of our own envelopes out of 12×12 cardstock for our wedding invites oh-so-many years ago), OR you can buy them cheaply in any color you like.
Enjoy – and I’d love feedback on how these work if you do print them, this is my first time making these and I’d love to know how I can improve. I had so much making theses, I’ve got a list of other printables I want to make next!
Click on the invitation you want to download – it (should be) that easy! The version you download will NOT have a watermark.
The fine print: please print and share to your heart’s delight! But please do not sell these or offer these for free from your own site. Thank you so much.
Happy Party Planning! 🙂

So cute! I am already thinking what I could use them for both personally and in my classroom. Now I am just wondering how to make those envelopes!
Got any bug ideas for invites? or Book themed?
Thanks for sharing, they are super cute!
Oh you just gave me some ideas with the book theme…!
These came out pretty girly, I was actually thinking I’d make some more with a some more boyish options and there are some bugs I could use, great idea!
Now if I can get around to it, I’ll have to do an envelope tutorial!
They’re adorable Carrie! You did a great job! Two comes so fast doesn’t it? I feel like if I blink Nick will be 3. Ack, let’s not go there!
Thank you! And yeah…time just flies by so fast…!
These are adorable! I’m pinning these to my Party Planning board on Pinterest. 🙂
Thank you!! 🙂
Do you think you could create one with a teacher theme? We could use them for parent conferences. Leave everything the same (LOVE the “You’re Invited” approach) except under RSVP have two options, with a box to check. ___ Yes, I can come at this time, and ____ No, but I can come ____. The graphics could be anything “teacher-like” such as apples, books, pencils, etc. I know lots of teachers who would love that!
I actually have a school-themed idea for August, so yeah…I can make these, too! Great idea, thank you.
Love the pool party invites! We should totally use those this summer! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I am about to make some new ones for this year’s party!
When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
Bless you!
