The 4th of July is right around the corner. AND, my oldest asked me if we could make American flags to root on the U.S. in the World’s Cup. AND, I love making printables. So, I thought I’d made a 4th of July printable to share on my blog…and then, I realized that we have LOTS of holidays to celebrate for America, so I made a printable American flag to use the rest of the year, too!
Click on the images below to download. They’re perfect for teaching kids what the American flag looks like, and they’re fun to color, too!
If you need a printable American flag for the other USA holidays throughout the year, I have one of those, too!
You could even get creative and cut them out and affix to a stick or wooden dowel to make a “real” flag. That’s what we are planning on doing!
On a random side note, last year’s 4th of July was the best one I think I’ve ever had. The weather was unnatually cool for July in Texas, and we sat outside under the stars with our favorite neighbors and watched fireworks with the kids. The kids were old enough to sit through the entire show, and they were old enough to stay awake. It was kind of…magical!
Happy 4th of July, everyone!
