WOW, Christmas is only a couple of weeks away! Don’t fight the long crowds or stressful situations this year and get creative! I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few people to buy for. I’m not trying to spend a lot of money on each gift, so DIY it is! Holiday Snack Mix Mason Jars this year for my work team are sure to be a hit!
Chex Mix in a jar recipe
You can get mason jars from any craft store such as Hobby Lobby or Michael’s! If you download the Hobby Lobby app, you can get a 40% off coupon and Michael’s always has coupons online as well! I got 20 jars for my work team from Michael’s and got them each for $1, now that’s an affordable gift! They can also re-use the mason jars once the snack mix is gone for a pen holder or to decorate with!
The tops of the mason jars are pretty plain, so I decided to cover them with red felt to add a festive look. You can also add Christmas printed fabric if you’re feeling extra festive! This is simple and easy to do with hot glue.

Gift tags are important on gifts. They add personality and make gifts sentimental. I came across these wood, laser cut tags from Michael’s and fell in love with them. You could also buy craft paper and make you own tags with festive stamps! These came in a pack of 12 and I got them using a coupon!
Grab your favorite paint or calligraphy pen and assign away!
I grabbed burlap tie, but any thin ribbon will do to tie your tag around the jar!
I also tied a candy cane around the jar with the name tag to be more festive!

Fill the jars with you choice of gift such as money, snacks, or candy! I filled mine with a Holiday Snack Mix that is so yummy!
To make the Holiday Snack Mix, you will need:
