In just a few short weeks, I’ll be packing lunches every day for two kids.
You should know this about me: I’m not great at this kind of stuff. In theory, I’d love to whip up cute bento box lunches full of different foods every day of the week. In reality, my kids will be eating a whole lotta PB&J. So basically? I am always looking for ways to make lunch prep easier, faster, and healthier.

I made cute printable Back-to-School water bottle labels to make lunch a little more fancy, and I put those together here so you could have them, too.

I’m excited about the kids starting school, and not just for selfish reasons. I think they are going to love Kindergarten and Pre-School. I don’t want packing lunches to be stressful for me, or disappointing for them. I am willing to take help where I can get it, and I can promise you my kids will have more than one lunch from Market Stree this year – and that makes us all happy! 🙂
You can check out my fun First Day of School Printables here. And be sure to check out the back-to-school printables from my friend Sarah, too!
So…I’m a little too far South to enjoy Market Street but it sounds like I need to venture North and visit one! Is this the cousin of HEB? If so, HEB is my fave so I know Market Street will rock!!
I love the labels and cute little lunch, too!!
It is so awesome! I am not sure if it’s an HEB relative or not, but if you’re ever near one…definitely worth checking out.
Great ideas for yummy and healthy lunches!
Thank you for stopping by the Thoughtful Spot Weekly Blog Hop this week. We hope to see you drop by our neck of the woods next week!
I am always looking for lunch ideas for myself. I do not like to eat the heavy take out everyone at work loves so much. I would rather have a variety of healthy snacks for my work day. This is awesome.
I was the same way when I was working in an office…and I got so tired of taking Lean Cuisines all the time!
Thanks so much for sharing with Wednesday’s Adorned From Above Link Party.

It’s so good to make going back to school special! In Australia we are in the 3rd term of our 4 term school year. We finish for the summer holidays mid December and go back to school late January. That is when many families are gearing up just like you!! Denyse .
PS found your blog on Friday Feature Linky party and as a retired teacher, your title got me to read!
Our year is just kicking off! 🙂
This is very helpful!
I actually have a 10 year old daughter who is currently enrolled in the online learning of an international school in the Philippines and I am preparing her food at home since they still have in between breaks every after 1 subject. Your suggestion is definitely worth following. I will try this at home to give words of encouragements to her while she’s having her classes. Please share more articles like these soon. More power to your blog!
