I don’t always meal plan a month at a time, but when I do…I save tons of time, energy, and even money. True story!
It really doesn’t take much longer to meal plan for a month than it does for a week (especially if you use my super simple technique for planning a month of meals in one sitting). But in this case, it just doesn’t get any easier because I’ve got an entire month of healthy meal plans all ready for you. I’ve even included printables with your weekly menus and a place to write down your grocery list (you can download these at the bottom of this post).
I actually don’t like to cook, and I don’t like drama at the dinner table, so you can be assured these are all SUPER SIMPLE dinners that most kids will approve of.
Everything with an asterisk next to it either freezes well and/or will be used again in another meal later in the week – so make extra! I’ve linked to some of my favorite recipes below, but if there’s no recipe or if you want to find something different, Pinterest is a great place to find recipes (here are two of my own boards with helpful meal planning info: Easy Recipes and How to Meal Plan). You’ll also notice that some of these meals make such great leftovers, you can easily substitute another meal with the extra leftovers you’ll have.

My favorite products for saving leftovers and for storing prepped food are Glad FreezerWare (and speaking of freezing, here’s a list of tips for freeing vegetables).
It can be hard to come up with healthy meal plans – I know this is true because I struggle with it, and I meal plan almost every week (now…sticking to the meal plan is another story!). Having the right tools can make all the difference in the world – set yourself up for success! Plan on using leftovers for future dinners or for lunch. Cook extra when you can and freeze it for a later meal.
And now you have no excuse – you have a month of easy meals all planned out for you! 🙂
