Do you guys know how simple it is to make your own taco seasoning? It is so simple. This particular 21 Day Fix homemade taco seasoning is a fantastic recipe to have in your arsenal. It doesn’t contain any preservatives and you can customize the amount of each spice to make it just the way you like it.

21 Day Fix Homemade Taco Seasoning

While I’m really highlighting the 21 Day Fix-ness of this recipe, I promise it’s perfect for anyone looking for a simple taco seasoning mix without preservatives. If you’re on the 21 Day Fix, you know that it can be hard to find store-bought seasonings that will fit into the plan. This is because the Fix really focuses on whole foods, and encourages you to avoid preservatives. It’s also a low-salt plan, and that can be really hard when buying pre-packaged food (they get so much salt crammed into packaged food!).

This taco seasoning recipe has no preservatives and no additives.

This is an easy, Fix-friendly homemade taco seasoning that you can create in just minutes.

Of course, this taco seasoning is great for any whole foods lifestyle. And if you’re following Weight Watchers, you’ll love the flavor you get from this 0-point taco seasoning!

How to Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

I won’t argue with anyone who says it’s easier to just buy your taco seasoning at the store. It is easier! But this only takes a couple minutes to make, and you can tweak it to fit your tastes.

This recipe includes chili powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. You can make it exactly as-is, or adjust seasonings. You may want to try it as-is the first time, but if you want it hotter, kick up the chili powder next time.

This recipe does include salt, but if you’re a real 21 Day Fix purist and want to avoid salt (or just need to avoid it for health reasons), you can halve it or leave it out completely.

You can make this recipe in larger batches, too. Just double (or triple, or more) the ingredients. Store unused amounts in an airtight container in your pantry for up to 6 months.

You can use this taco seasoning in any recipe. Here’s a collection of 21 Day Fix recipes just dying to be tried out with this seasoning. If that’s not enough for you, here are 55 more taco recipes for the whole family!

Something else to love about this taco seasoning? It costs just pennies to make, and you probably have all if not most of the ingredients in your pantry already. Your budget will love this simple recipe, too!
