Pizza is basically a uniting force in this house. It’s something we can all agree on – and it’s also super easy to customize, so everyone can make their own without it feeling like we’re cooking four different meals. But this healthy Grape, Walnut, and Goat Cheese Pizza (with arugula!) is my favorite 21 Day Fix pizza.
So far. It’s my favorite pizza so far. I have a few ideas up my sleeve that might give this one a run for its money.
This whole wheat pita pocket pizza (say that three times fast!) is a copycat recipe from a seasonal pizza at a local restaurant that I just about fell in love with and tried to marry. I needed to make some tweaks to make this healthier version, but you know what? I like it just as much.
21 Day Fix Pizza
OK first of all, this recipe is based on a restaurant pizza but also this Grape & Walnut Salad, which if I do say so myself is FANTASTIC. The only thing that could make it any better is bread and more cheese, so, here ya go.
But first…
What is Portion Fix and the 21 Day Fix?
The 21 Day Fix and Portion Fix are Beachbody weightloss programs. They are based on eating a portion-controlled, whole foods diet and they are fantastic programs. You can buy the program here or join our Facebook group here.
Can I have pizza on the 21 Day Fix?
YES! Yes, you can have pizza on the fix. In fact, here is a whole collection of 21 Day Fix Pizza Recipes for you!
Can grapes go on a pizza?
YES, yes, and yes again. They add this light, fruity, juicy, tangy pop to every bite. And when combined with the crunchy walnuts and creamy goat cheese and crispy arugula, this is basically a party for your mouth.
Can I swap out pizza toppings?
Yep! Swap out any ingredients you’d like. Just note that the cook time, container counts, and photos you see here are all based on the exact recipe you see in this post.
I always do my best to ensure that container counts, Weight Watchers points, and nutritional data are correct. But please always double check yourself!
Healthy Grape, Walnut, Goat Cheese Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 whole wheat pita pockets
- 1 c grapes green and/or purple, thinly sliced
- 3 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tbsp chopped walnuts optional: roasted
- 1/4 onion thinly sliced
- 1/3 c goat cheese
- 1/3 c part-skim mozzarella
- 1 c baby arugula
- 4 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Turn oven on to 425.
- In a small bowl, toss the sliced grapes with 1 teaspoon olive oil, salt, and pepper (to taste).
- Brush the top of each whole wheat pita pocket with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Sprinkle half the mozzarella on each pita. Then divide the grapes, sliced onions, walnuts, and goat cheese between the two pitas.
- Place on a rimmed baking sheet in the oven for 8 minutes. Keep an eye on them as every oven is different. The cheese should just be starting to brown.
- After removing from the onion, drizzle each pita pizza with 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar. Optional: drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey on each pizza. Top with the baby arugula and enjoy!

OK so after getting this post written and realizing how much I liked making this recipe, I decided I’d start working on a pizza series. I’m also working on a muffin series and and overnight oats series because those three foods are where I excel (pizza, muffins, and oatmeal…yes please!). I’m not even kidding.
So get ready for more pizza deliciousness coming your way!
